Course summary

You will develop digital music production skills which include beat making, mixing, production, remixing and mastering. These skills will enable you to create music production projects from scratch and see them through to a professional industry standard of completion. You are not expected to have any prior music technology experience when you start the course. You will cover units in the following areas: • Music for Media and Film • Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) • Remixing and Reworking • Mixing and Mastering Techniques • Commercial Music Production

Entry requirements

- Minimum prior attainment which must be achieved to enrol on this course: APS of 4 including grade 6 in Music at GCSE - Best 8 APS of 5.5+, including grade 5 in GCSE English & Maths. If you have studied a subject at GCSE and wish to study it at A Level, a minimum of a grade 5 pass is required.
