A Level of Textile Design is as creative as it is academic. In this dynamic course, you will explore a wide range of high-level creative techniques and processes that will allow you to develop an in-depth understanding of shape, form, texture, pattern and colour. During the course, you’ll research designers and artists to inspire and inform your work. You’ll be supported to develop your own creative style, as well as building key skills in garment construction. Throughout your time on the course, you will build a comprehensive portfolio which will inform your final projects.
Entry Criteria: • 4 GCSEs at grade 5. • 2 GCSEs at grade 4 including GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths.
A Levels are traditional academic qualifications assessed largely by exams at the end of the two-year period.
