A Level French will see you exploring French culture, building your knowledge of life in France, as well as developing your French language and literature skills – ensuring that you move towards speaking and understanding the language fluently. Naturally, being able to speak a second language is a key skill. But the ability to speak more than one language develops a vast range of valuable skills ranging from becoming more analytical, to being able to communicate more effectively in your own first language; this makes it a valuable qualification for employers and universities alike.
Entry Criteria: • 4 GCSEs at grade 5. • 2 GCSEs at grade 4 including GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths. You’ll need to meet the entry criteria for your chosen pathway and a grade 6 in GCSE French.
A Levels are traditional academic qualifications assessed largely by exams at the end of the two-year period.
