You will be able to choose from a single or double A level equivalent in Health and Social Care. If you choose to study the double Health and Social Care you will take additional units and gain a larger qualification. We cover many aspects of health and social care, including nutrition for health, developing effective communication, anatomy and physiology, dementia care, caring for additional needs, equality and diversity, psychology for health and social care, sexual health, reproduction and early development, health and safety and supporting people with mental health difficulties. Our students also have the opportunity to do some volunteering and work experience at well-known organisations like ReVitalise during their studies.
Students should have grades 9-4 in five GCSE programmes, including either GCSE English or GCSE Mathematics.
