Photography offers us so many ways to explore and analyse the world around us. It has never been a better time to be a photographer with new technologies emerging all the time and a multitude of platforms to promote your work. A Level Photography teaches you how to think creatively and develop your ideas in new and exciting ways. This course will help you develop as a creative individual and give you a set of skills that are valued in any chosen career.
You must have a minimum of five GCSEs at grades 9-4, including a grade 4 in English Language. It is preferable that you have a Level 2 qualification in an art-based subject (e.g. a Merit at BTEC or a grade 4 at GCSE). If you don’t, you will need to bring a portfolio of work to your interview which we will review as part of the enrolment process.
