On this highly interactive course, you will gain an excellent understanding of a wide range of sports pathways, which will help you to determine exactly where your passion lies. The sporting sector offers a diverse and exciting range of career opportunities. On this course you will pair academic theory with practical skills, providing you with the skills, knowledge and experience needed to pursue a range of roles within sports such as coaching and instruction, as well degree-level study in subjects such as sports management. This course is a Diploma (equivalent to 2 A Levels), however, you can opt to study Applied Sport as a full-time qualification too.
Entry Criteria: To enroll on this as a minimum you will need 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including GCSE English Language or GCSE Maths. You must achieve EITHER grade 4 in GCSE Maths and/or GCSE English Language as re-sitting both is not permitted. GCSE Maths/English Language must not be below grade 3. You’ll need to meet the entry criteria for your chosen Pathway along with a grade 4 in GCSE Science/a pass in a vocational Level 2 science qualification.
