Course summary

If you want to be a bright spark, be an electrician! Demand for qualified electricians remains high and this course in our brand new facilities will set you off on the right track. Electricians can be self-employed or work directly for companies, so if you want a job that’s far from 9 to 5, then a career as an electrician could be perfect. The course will include covering electrotechnical knowledge, electrical science and the practical application of theory in the workshop. Note: this course is subject to Level 3 reform funding.

Entry requirements

You will need a grade 4/C in both GCSE maths and English and two other GCSEs at Grade 3/D or above. You will also need to have previously completed the Level 2 qualification.
