In the first year you will study for a foundation diploma studying: Exploring Business, Developing a Marketing Campaign, Personal and Business Finance, Managing an Event, Recruitment and Selection in Business and English Legal System.. For the second year you will top up to an Extended Diploma studying further units such as International Business, Principles of Management, Business Decision Making, Team Building and Work Experience.
A successful interview plus one of the following: 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above including English and maths or equivalent BTEC Level 2 Certificate in Business with merit or distinction profile plus Level 2 English and maths.
The course emphasises practical application of learning, which involves assessments by projects, case studies, presentations, exams and controlled assessments. You will also visit local and national businesses and organisations. Your studies will be monitored through the academic tutorial system, ensuring that you know exactly how you are progressing.
