Course summary

This one-year course is equivalent to 3 A Levels and is for you if you are interested in examining the key concepts of business. You will develop a strong understanding of this wide-ranging sector and how aspects like finance, marketing and management operate. You will develop your skills and confidence in delivering presentations, academic writing, working collaboratively, negotiating, influencing and problem-solving. You will access inspirational teaching sessions to help you understand important topics in the sector. You will look at the business environment, personal and business finance, international business and the principle of management. This will give you the knowledge and skills you need to decide what you will study next or be successful in the business world. As part of this qualification, you will be required to undertake 30 hours of Work Experience to help prepare you for the industry.
