For our Advanced Vocational courses our entry requirements are a minimum of 5x GCSEs at Grade 4, Maths or English Language or Literature at Grade 4 and Grade 3 in the others. Some courses and subjects will have additional specific entry requirements or require DBS clearance to undertake placements. A minimum of 5 x Grade 4s, including English & Maths.
The course is delivered as a combination of theory and practical, and you will be assessed through both a portfolio assessment of mandatory and optional units. All units are internally assessed and subject to external standard verification. Learners will present the findings of their own research, use case studies to explore complex or unfamiliar situations, carry out projects for which they have choice over the direction and outcomes and demonstrate practical and technical skills using appropriate processes.
