Course summary

Physicists look for all the hidden laws that explain why all matter (that’s every physical thing) and energy in the known universe exists, where it comes from and how it behaves the way it does. Physics covers a wide range of topic areas from the unimaginably small to the extraordinarily massive and everything in between. You will study the constituents of the atomic nucleus and how they interact as well as the uses we have for the radiation and energy given off in these interactions. You will see how the same physical laws that apply to our everyday movements apply on the smallest and largest scales. Practical and investigative skills are also developed throughout the course.
