Course summary

BTEC Science is studied in two parts practical skills and science knowledge (content). Students will cover a variety of skills in science including topics in Biology, Chemistry and Physics as well as developing their investigative skills through practical work. Students will complete 4 units over two years to achieve the Extended Certificate in BTEC science. If you like problem-solving, practical work, finding out about how the world around us works and enjoying investigations through experiences or simply if you love science, this is the course for you.
