At the A-level students begin to discuss wider social issues including multiculturalism, politics and artistic culture in French-speaking society as well as studying authentic literature and films in the French language. The French course is assessed on your ability to understand written and spoken language, whilst also showing proficiency in communication both orally and in written language. Students will have the opportunity to explore French at a much deeper level whilst building on the core skills in reading, writing and listening that they acquired at GCSE.
