Level 3 Mathematical Studies (Core Maths) is a new qualification designed for students who have achieved a grade 4/C or above at GCSE. It helps to develop students’ mathematical skills and thinking and supports courses such as A-level Psychology, Sciences, and Geography as well as technical and vocational qualifications. The course is taught in the STEM area of the college, which is staffed by highly talented, qualified, and motivated lecturers.
You will need 5 GCSEs grades 9/A* - 4/C including a minimum level 4/C in Maths.
This one year course culminates in two 1 and a half hour exams.
