Course summary

Are you compassionate and driven to help other people On this A-Level equivalent course, youll study units which reflect your own interests and career choices, tailoring your learning towards your personal goals. Work experience is a crucial part of the course. We will help you find a placement that allows you to put the skills in learn in college into practice and gives you a real taste of your future. Youll be taught by our specialist lecturers who have years of experience working in the industry; theyll be able to give you a valuable insight into the challenges and rewards of working in health and social care. The course is run over two years. In the first year youll complete the Level 3 Foundation Diploma and subsequently the Level 3 Extended Diploma, which will give you the UCAS points necessary to progress into higher education. Alternatively, youll have the experience and knowledge to start looking for a role in the industry.
