Course summary

This is a course suitable for those interested in Journalism, Teaching, Law, Politics etc. The content covers spoken language, written language from past and present and other aspects of sociolinguistics. You’ll consider the way in which you use language on a daily basis and be able to understand the mechanics of spoken and written interactions. You will be learning creative writing of fiction and non-fiction and analytical skills based on the key language constituents.
