This course forms part of a combined A level and vocational mixed programme and can be completed alongside 2 A levels, this course is the equivalent of 1 A Level and is completed over 2 years. During this course, you will develop the skills needed to examine, interpret, and analyse a variety of statistical data. You will measure the importance of tourism in the UK, learn about the different types of destinations and their importance, and investigate the features and appeal of global destinations. You will learn more about customer service and explore ways of managing internal and external customer experiences to support organisational success. You will also have plenty of opportunities to develop and practise your customer service skills. Towards the end of the course, you will work on an assignment to identify a gap in the market for a new travel and tourism enterprise.
