Course summary

This course is designed for learners who are interested in the sector alongside other fields of study, to progress to a wide range of higher education courses. Across the 2 year course, you will study; Principles and applications of science, practical scientific procedures and techniques, and science investigation skills with one further option selected by the class teacher based on various topics including content from Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. 2 units are externally assessed. Possible careers and industries include; lab technician, forensic science, researcher, hospital support, and various degree opportunities such as biomedical science.
