Course summary

The Edexcel BTEC National Subsidiary Diploma in Health and Social Care will provide you with the skills you need for either university or work in the Health & Social Care sector. A wide range of subjects are covered which will raise your awareness of the many rewarding career opportunities that exist. Teachers are friendly, approachable and supportive. ?The course is internally assessed by completing 6 units on a continuous assessment basis. This course is for students who prefer undertaking course work to examinations. Distinction*, Distinction, Merit and Passes are achievable on completion of the course, in addition to developing lots of valuable practical employability skills. This course will provide a springboard to a university degree or an apprenticeship in any of the Health and Social Care sectors.

Entry requirements

- 4 GSCE Grade A* to C - To study BTEC subjects you will need to achieve a minimum of 5 grade 4s at GCSE including Maths and English Language.
