Students wishing to follow this course will need to have an interest and a capability in mathematics that is considerably higher than average. A level Mathematics consists of developing concepts in the pure mathematics elements and then applying these two areas such as statistics and mechanics.
- You will need to have an average GCSE grade of 4.5 or above and at least a grade 6 (7 preferred) in GCSE Mathematics. - To study A-Level subjects, you will need to achieve a minimum of 3 grade 5s and 2 grade 4s at GCSE including Maths and English Language.
All three examinations will be taken at the end of the two-year course
