Course summary
The BTEC National Diploma provides a specialist work related qualification that covers the key knowledge and practical skills required in the field of laboratory technicians in a wide range of vocational situations, eg quality control, forensic or medical science. The course allows students to continue to study all 3 science subjects beyond GCSE. The qualification offers an engaging programme of mainly internally assessed coursework for those students who are clear about the area of employment they wish to enter. (6) - Core Units 1.
