Course summary

The BTEC Applied Science courses provide an alternative pathway to employment and higher education; they are vocational courses focusing on how Science is applied in the workplace. It will provide you with the skills and knowledge underpinning all aspects of Science across a variety of industries. Within the course, you will be undertaking practical work, investigating phenomena, reporting your findings as well as writing scientifically. The course is unique among Science courses because it covers the three main disciplines of Science: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. BTEC Applied Science is modular in nature.
