Course summary

This is a popular Level 3 qualification which is the equivalent of an AS Level in terms of UCAS points and is beneficial for all students wishing to maintain skills in Maths without committing to a full A Level in the subject. It is a qualification recognized by employers and will enhance future prospects. Topics include Finance and Statistical Analysis. How the course is taught? There are three hours of directed teaching a week but all students are also expected to study independently.

Entry requirements

5 or more GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above. All students must have Grade 5 or above in GCSE Maths.

How you'll be assessed

100% examination, with three 2-hour, calculator allowed exams taken at the end of the Year.
