The course is divided into a wide range of topics, each covering key areas in Psychology. These topics include: Forensic Psychology, Memory, Social Influence, Schizophrenia, Bio-Psychology, Gender, Psychopathology, and many others. Knowledge and understanding of research methods, practical research skills and mathematical skills are also studied. These skills are developed through study of the specification content and through practical research activities, involving designing and conducting research and analysing and interpreting data.
5 x grade 5 or above (including GCSE Maths and English Language) Grade 5/5 in Combined Science
The A Level Psychology course is assessed through 3 written exams in May/June of the second year.
