Course summary

A Level Biology builds on the work you do at GCSE, extending and deepening your knowledge of biology. Taught by expert teachers, you will develop a broad understanding of a range of topics including Cells, Genetics, Biochemistry and Ecology. Practical work is at the heart of all good science teaching, and the required practical activities will give you the opportunity to embed your skills and knowledge. This course prepares you for further university study and is a gateway to a degree in any scientific or mathematical field. A Level Biology would assist greatly with a medical school application.
