Course summary

Law is a challenging and dynamic course which will allow you to develop your knowledge and understanding of how English Law is created and enforced. It will enable you to explore how law is enforced within the court structure, personnel, and access to justice. You will examine how legal responsibility in both criminal law and civil law is established and what court procedures, sentencing and damages are available. You will examine key principles and cases that determine what our laws are today. You will also be given the opportunity to ask questions about the nature and purpose of justice and discuss how morality may conflict with the law.
