Course summary

Edexcel Mathematics in context (Level 3 Core Maths) is intended to encourage students to further develop their understanding of Mathematics. It is primarily aimed at students who have enjoyed Mathematics at GCSE and are considering studying a Mathematics related subject at a higher level. The course will provide links to GCE A Level Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Computing, Geography, Psychology, BTEC Business, Health and Social Care through a range of mathematical methods and techniques, including using contemporary calculator technology and knowledge and use of a spreadsheet, to find solutions to problems.
