Course summary

This course is an exciting opportunity, especially if you enjoyed English at GCSE and would like to further develop your skills. You will be given the opportunity to broaden your knowledge of literary terminology and apply this through a range of fictional texts, including novels, poetry and drama. You will study a wide range of texts and genres including Othello, a collection of Keats poems and the play, “The Death of a Salesman”. You will also learn a range of literary terms and critical approaches to texts that will enhance your analysis and open your eyes to different interpretations.
