This subject gives students a unique persepective on life, exploring the ultimate questions of life and our purpose for being here. The topics studied help to explain the diverse nature of the world we live in, contemporary issues such as medical ethics, immigration and sexual orientation and identity.
Students are expected to have gained a minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade 5 and above.
Examination arrangements: Each study is assessed by a 2 hour exam (33%) of total qualification.
