Course summary

Psychology is the scientific study of mind and behaviour, and is a very popular subject. Psychology uses scientific methods to describe and explain behaviour which, in turn, allows us to predict and modify behaviour. During this course you will develop both an academic understanding of the subject and an appreciation of its impact on people’s daily lives. Qualifications in Psychology can lead to careers in personnel, health services, counselling, teaching and police services. Successful completion of this A-Level subject will also give you access to a range of higher education courses including Psychology degrees.

Entry requirements

- Grade 5 in GCSE Psychology or Grade 5 in GCSE combined or separate science - 5 GCSE's at Grades 9 – 4, including a Grade 4 in Maths and English (Language or Literature).
