Course summary

Psychology is the study of human behaviour and the reasons why people and animals do the things they do. The course allows you to explore a wide range of behaviours and there will be a great chance to explore these topics in depth. It will also open up a world of career options. Not only is the subject diverse in job prospects, but it opens up a world of opportunities with transferable skills such as critical analysis, independent thinking and research: all qualities valued by higher education providers and employers. As a subject it will also give you skills of empathy, understanding and an ability to see the world from others points of view and perspectives to understand cultural differences.
