Paper 1: Listening, reading & writing Written exam: 2 hours 30 minutes 50% of A Level What’s assessed: - Aspects of Spanish-speaking society: current trends - Aspects of Spanish-speaking society: current issues - Artistic culture in the Spanish-speaking world - Aspects of Political life in the Spanish-speaking world - Grammar Paper 2: Writing Written exam: 2 hours 20% of A Level What’s assessed: - One text and one film or two texts from the list set in the specification - Grammar Paper 3: Speaking Oral exam: 21-23 minutes (including 5 minutes preparation time) 30% of A Level What’s assessed: - Individual research project - One of four themes (Aspects of Hispanic society or Artistic culture in the Hispanic world or Multiculturism in Hispanic Society or Aspects of political life in Hispanic Society.
