Course summary

The course is ideally suited to students who have a passion for the visual arts and enjoy exploring creative ways of thinking. There will be the opportunity for a broad based exploration of ideas in year 12 with the opportunity to focus on your own interests in a Personal Study in year 13. Students who will succeed with the course will need to be dedicated and passionate about the visual arts. You will be expected to develop ideas explore creative and imaginative approaches to a given topic as well as developing your practical skills. You will need to explore traditional and new media and technologies and create links with artists, designers and craftspeople. The course offers the opportunity to study arrange of disciplines from Fine Art, Graphical imagery to digital Media.
