Course summary

This is an extra qualification (equivalent to an AS Level) and would be studied alongside your course choices, it takes place during enrichment and you have 2 hours of teaching per week. Core Maths helps to develop students' mathematical skills and thinking. It supports courses such as A-level Psychology, Sciences, and Geography as well as technical and vocational qualifications. It is also a good option for students who wish to continue their study of mathematics without taking on the mainstream full A-level course. The course is relevant to real life, modern, accessible to students, and applies to all careers.
