In this course, you will learn how businesses are set up, change, and grow to be successful. From a small start-up business to a large multinational organization, you can see different types of businesses and understand how the choices made can affect the success of the business. You will look at how businesses work and gain an understanding of the legal, financial, and ethical factors impacting how a business runs and can be successful. You can explore how economic, social, and technological factors affect businesses. The course is designed in collaboration with industry experts and focuses on the requirements today’s employers demand. You will develop the transferable skills required in employment and further education such as communication, problem-solving, time management, research, and analytical skills.
5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English.
You will be assessed at points throughout the two years by a combination of examinations and coursework projects and will have the opportunity to sit each examination a maximum of twice in order to achieve the maximum possible grade.
