You will study A-level Further Mathematics in conjunction with A Level Mathematics and, normally, two other A Level subjects. The Fast Track course attracts students who enjoy Mathematics and are keen to extend their knowledge. Further Maths takes many of the concepts met in A Level Maths to a higher plane. It is important to note that “Further” Maths does not necessarily mean “harder” Maths; many of the first-year topics can be studied immediately by any student who has GCSE Maths.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (grade C) or above, with a Grade 8 in Math.
