BTEC Applied Science is a course designed for students who do not want to follow the academic route but would be looking to have a science based career, for example, nursing, forensic science, paramedics, etc.
You will need at least a level 4 GCSE combined science and a level 4 in English and mathematics.
The course consist of 4 units: • Unit 1 – An external exam on Biology, Physics and Chemistry • Unit 2 – Coursework based • Unit 3 - A practical exam and test • Unit 4 – Course work (an optional unit you choose)
