Course summary

In this course, we read and analyse some of the greatest books, poems and plays ever written. We deal with fundamental questions about life, love and everything. It is taught by teachers who got into teaching because of these books. You study a 19th Century novel, an anthology of poetry and a Shakespeare play. It is similar to GCSE, however, these texts are much larger, the most famous and well written literature of all time. In the second year, you choose what books you study for your coursework.
