Why should I choose this subject? • I enjoy a diverse range of films and am interested in how film can help our understanding of the world around us. • I’m interested in different types of films including mainstream, independent and experimental as well as how films have changed over time. • I am a creative person and want to learn how to write and make films. There are a range of Film Studies courses at universities, including Screen Studies, Screenwriting, and more practically based filmmaking courses. Alternatively it would support an application to study any humanities subject at university.
