Course summary

Further Maths is a two-year course which, in addition to Mathematics makes up two of your subject choices at A Level. This option leads to two separate A Levels in Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Students will study all four mathematical options taught at Holy Trinity: Core Mathematics, Statistics, Mechanics and Decision Maths. For details of these, please refer to Mathematics. Further Mathematics is ideally suited to the highly able mathematician who expects to achieve a top grade at GCSE. The course is ideal for those interested in university courses such as Mathematics, Engineering and Physics.
