Being able to speak a foreign language is now an essential life skill in a globalized society in which international relationships are often a necessity for organizations and businesses to thrive. Studying German at A Level will enhance the linguistic skills acquired at GCSE and extend your knowledge of German culture enabling you to communicate in both written and spoken German as you move towards fluency. You will also explore the culture and politics of German-speaking countries as well as have the opportunity to take part in the German Exchange program to Germany. You will study a film and a text and in the second year you will have an opportunity to carry out independent research on a topic of your choice.
