The Extended Diploma in Sport course is designed for students with a clear passion for sport and an interest in studying the topic further and ultimately working in the sports industry. The vocational outline of the course allows for a unit-based structure which can be differentiated for students to gain the best possibility to succeed. The qualification will provide you with vast knowledge and understanding of sports industry and as a result will allow students the opportunity to study various sectors within the sports industry. Each unit of work you study will focus on a different aspect of the sports industry with the aim to help you choose a pathway for the future.
Students with a GCSE average point score* of between 3.5 and 4.0 are only able to study three Cambridge Technical courses Pass (P2) in Cambridge National in Sports Studies or Sports Science.
A range of assessment types and styles will be used: 4 Externally assessed Units (written exams) 13 Internally assessed assignments (written/practical coursework)
