This is a course where you will be given frequent opportunities to express your views, and listen to the views of others. Some texts and ideas that you encounter will be challenging and will stretch your understanding. Students can expect to develop skills of analysis, through close reading of texts. Students will be given the opportunity to read a wide range and style of texts as well as researching texts, themes and authors independently. They will also develop discussion skills and how to work with a group to develop ideas. Finally students will consider how to plan and organise their ideas logically.
