Course summary

We believe languages should appeal to all students. The A-level in German has been developed to inspire all students who have an appreciation of the language, literature, film and culture of the German-speaking world. Students will gain an advanced level of knowledge and understanding of the German language, the culture of Germany and other German-speaking countries, as well as practical and valuable language and transferable study skills. The skills will help to prepare students for higher education and enhance their employability profile.
