This course encourages students to: - Develop their interest in a study of philosophy and ethics and its relation to the wider world - Adopt an enquiring, critical and reflective approach to the study of philosophy and ethics - Reflect and develop own values, opinions and attitudes.
- Overall plus Grade 4 in English. You do not have to hold any religious beliefs to study this A Level. - Minimum of 5x 9-4 grades at GCSE with a minimum Average
Unit 1 Written Paper, Philosophy of Religion & Ethics 3hrs (50%) 100 marks Unit 2 Written Paper, Study of Religion & Dialogues 3hrs (50%) 100 marks The qualification is linear. Students will be assessed at the end of the course. Students must take assessments in both Units 1 and 2. These assessments will be in the same faith context, Christianity. There is no coursework.
