Learners interested in the Level 2 Technical Certificate in Make-up Artistry will study theoretical aspects of the subject and apply them to practical tasks. Compulsory topics include: • Working in the make up industry • Anatomy & physiology • Research, develop and showcase designs • The art of applying makeup • Hair artistry • Creative make-up artistry
Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above which must include a grade 3 or above in English and Maths. Learners who do not achieve the entry grades will be signposted to our Level 1 Programme to provide an opportunity to develop skills and improve English and Maths Grades as appropriate.
This is an examined Qualification graded P-D*. Learners must achieve a minimum pass in all 3 elements below: • Synoptic Assignment (Full Day Practical Exam) • Written Theory Exam (Half day) • Employer Involvement e.g Industry Placement
