Geography is an exciting subject that will challenge your perceptions and encourage you to use your investigative and analytical skills. You will develop a good understanding of the world around you and how the actions of humans shape our planet. • Physical Geography (the processes of the World around us) • Human Geography (the development and movement of society) • Fieldwork Investigation (an independent investigation carried out by the student) The course is varied and wide-reaching, appealing to a range of geographical interests and skills. The curriculum is demanding and students will be required to do extra reading in addition to independent revision. It is also extremely important that students practice past exam questions to gain knowledge and understanding of the varied types of questions asked at A-Level.
