This course of for 19-23-year-olds who wish to upskill in their current role or enter the Early Years industry as a change of careers. This course is suitable for people who have achieved a level 2 qualification.
You will need 5 GCSEs at a minimum of Level 4 to include Mathematics and English Language. You are also required to have two good references (one must be from an employer or a recent school/college report) and be successful at the interview, showing appropriate communication skills for working with children. It is essential for all candidates to have an enhanced DBS check before they can go into any Health and Social Care setting. Candidates must be aware that if they have received a caution.
