This is a two year programme consisting of three mandatory units and one optional unit. Assessment of the four units comprises of an external examination, an assignment completed under controlled conditions and two internally assessed units. The examination and controlled assessment are worth 60% of the overall marks, with the internally assessed units making up the remaining 40% of the qualification. The mandatory units are as follows: Unit 1 - Exploring Business Unit 2 - Developing a marketing campaign Unit 3 - Personal and Business finance
Grade 4 in Maths and English. You do not need to have studied Business previously to take this course. You will need a minimum of 5 GCSE levels, grades 4-9, including English and Maths and at least three other subjects.
