This Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies VRQ is an assessment-based qualification for school leavers and adults who wish to pursue a career in beauty therapy. Once qualified, you will be able to start work in a junior role in a beauty salon.
GCSE English and Maths at Grade 3 are an advantage.
Practical elements of the Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies VRQ course will be assessed in our state-of-the-art salons on the fifth floor of the college. Practically you will be assessed based on individual performance throughout the course to a level of competency which consists of formative and summative assessments. Theory knowledge is assessed via multiple choice online exams and/or assignments and work packs. All exams are marked externally by the awarding body, and your final grade will be a Pass.
